A walk-off single from Tyler Jordan brought home the winning run for the Grand Lake Mariners (14-23) in a 4-3 victory over the So. Ohio Copperheads in 11 innings at Westview Park on Saturday.

The So. Ohio Copperheads (20-16) couldn't slow down Jacob Reese, who paced the Grand Lake Mariners with five hits. He singled in the first, third, fifth, sixth, and eleventh innings.

Trevor Kill's seven strikeouts helped the Grand Lake Mariners to the victory. The Grand Lake Mariners' pitcher tossed 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Danny McMurtrey couldn't get it done on the mound for the So. Ohio Copperheads, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
