A walk-off error from Chandler Brock brought home the winning run for the Xenia Scouts (17-20) in a 9-8 victory over the Hamilton Joes (13-24) at Grady Field on Thursday.

Brock got on base three times in the game for the Xenia Scouts. He singled in the seventh inning.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 17 runs and 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. Both bullpens were busy with six pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Collin Radack racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Xenia Scouts. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Joshua Spears recorded his third win of the year for the Xenia Scouts. He allowed one run over one inning. Spears struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Blake Thomas (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
