An impressive effort by Tommy Monnot spurred the Stark County Terriers (21-15) to a 13-3 win in seven innings over the Xenia Scouts (14-19) on Sunday at Walsh University.

Monnot hit two home runs for the Stark County Terriers. Monnot went 4-4 in the game with five RBIs and three runs scored. Monnot homered in the third and fourth innings.

The Stark County Terriers blew out the Xenia Scouts thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Stark County Terriers scored six runs in the fourth on a solo home run by Jason Bagoly, , , , and a solo home run by Monnot.

John Birkbeck racked up six strikeouts in the the Stark County Terriers win. Birkbeck allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks over six innings.

Jonatahn Popadics had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Ryan Ruble couldn't get it done on the bump for the Xenia Scouts, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked four and struck out three.
