Aaron Novak had two extra base hits, helping the So. Ohio Copperheads (17-11) to a 3-1 victory over the Lexington Hustlers (13-19) on Sunday at Henry Clay HS.

Chase Greenwell had two extra-base hits for the Lexington Hustlers. He doubled in the second and fourth innings.

Zak Esposito recorded his first win of the year for the So. Ohio Copperheads. He allowed one run over five innings. Esposito struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits.

Jackson Deyer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
