The game between the Licking County Settlers (19-14) and the Licking County Settlers went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Licking County Settlers emerged with a 8-6 victory.

With the score tied at six in the eleventh inning, Alex Johnson came to the plate and singled, plating Ryan Cordell.

Cordell had two extra-base hits for the Licking County Settlers. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

The So. Ohio Copperheads (16-11) couldn't get anything going so long as Brett Barber was on the hill. The So. Ohio Copperheads managed just three hits off of the the Licking County Settlers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Connor Murphy got the win, running his season record to 4-1. Murphy struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Josh Roeder ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed two runs.

The Licking County Settlers were sparked by Johnson and Cordell, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
