The Stark County Terriers' late runs seal 10-2 blowout over the Lake Erie Monarchs

The Stark County Terriers (20-15) used a four-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the Lake Erie Monarchs (15-17) 10-2 on Saturday at Ned Skeldon Stadium.

Max Murphy racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Stark County Terriers. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the eighth inning.

The Lake Erie Monarchs couldn't get anything going as long as Tyler Glass was on the mound. The Lake Erie Monarchs managed just three hits off of Glass, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Andrew Sohn had a hot bat for the Lake Erie Monarchs. Sohn went 3-5. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Johnny Fasola recorded his third win of the year for the Stark County Terriers. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Alec Schmenk ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked three and struck out 11.
