Friday was a great day for Austin Coley, as Coley tossed six scoreless innings to carry the Grand Lake Mariners (11-22) to a 7-1 victory over the Lima Locos (22-13) at Westview Park.

The offense exploded for the the Grand Lake Mariners in the sixth. In the inning the Grand Lake Mariners scored five runs.

Kyle Haen pushed the Grand Lake Mariners ahead, in the sixth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. With the game scoreless in the sixth inning Haen came to the plate and doubled.

Ruben Tresgallo (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
