The Dayton Docs (14-18) outlasted the Grand Lake Mariners (8-22) on Wednesday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 8-5 win at Wright State University.

The Dayton Docs took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. A groundout by Brian Bien scored Jesse Rait and gave the Dayton Docs the lead for good.

Rait racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Dayton Docs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Ryan Blanchard had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Tommy Konrad recorded his first win of the year for the Dayton Docs. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Will Schierholz couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Grand Lake Mariners, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
