The bats were busy at Grady Field on Wednesday, and when the dust cleared the Xenia Scouts (12-17) had an 11-8 win over the So. Ohio Copperheads (16-9).
The teams totaled 26 hits in the game.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with four lead changes.
Chandler Brock racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Xenia Scouts. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Even though Ryan Ruble allowed seven runs over 5 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
Blake Bottoms was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
