Zach Johnson held the Licking County Settlers (16-13) scoreless for six innings to boost the Dayton Docs (13-18) to a 8-2 victory.

Johnson allowed four hits, one walk and struck out three.

The Dayton Docs blew out the Licking County Settlers thanks to 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Dayton Docs scored four runs in the fifth on a double by Jesse Rait, a single by Kuris Duggan, a sacrifice fly by Joe Ford, an RBI single by Chris Manning, and a sacrifice fly by Garrett Gray.

Zach Mosbarger led the Dayton Docs' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings.

Kyle Turner was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out two.
