The Cincinnati Steam (16-8) pounded the Xenia Scouts (11-13) on Monday 8-2 at Grady Field.

A three-run double by Parker Wormsley helped the Cincinnati Steam score three runs in the sixth. The Cincinnati Steam had two hits in the inning.

Nick Priessman racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Cincinnati Steam. He homered in the fourth inning.

The Xenia Scouts had no answer for David Etscheid, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Etscheid held the Xenia Scouts hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Kyle Hart improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cincinnati Steam. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Ryan Ruble (1-2) took the loss for the Xenia Scouts. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
