Adam Dennison went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Stark County Terriers (12-13) to a 9-4 victory in seven innings over the Hamilton Joes (8-16) on Sunday at Walsh University.
He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.It was a good day at the plate for the Hamilton Joes' Tucker Tubbs. Tubbs went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth innings.
Casey Wilson got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed four runs over six innings. Wilson struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits.
Kurtis Watkins couldn't get it done on the bump for the Hamilton Joes, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out two.
