The Grand Lake Mariners (7-15) scored three runs in the eighth to cap a 7-1 win over the Hamilton Joes (8-14) on Friday.

Michael Moore did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Grand Lake Mariners, reaching base two times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the third inning.

Preston Zachrich's seven strikeouts helped the Grand Lake Mariners to the victory. Zachrich allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk over seven innings.

Despite the loss, the Hamilton Joes' Brett Mckinney dominated the Grand Lake Mariners' batters, giving up three runs and striking out seven.
