The Licking County Settlers (15-7) outlasted the Lima Locos (13-7) on Tuesday after three lead changes, squeaking out a 5-3 win at Simmons Field.
The Licking County Settlers finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A two-run error scored Cody Angus and Lucas Calderon and gave the Licking County Settlers the lead for good.
Jonathan Finnegan was solid at the plate for the Licking County Settlers. Finnegan went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, fourth, and ninth innings.
