The Stark County Terriers (10-10) took down the Cincinnati Steam 10-0 on Sunday at Walsh University after slamming the Cincinnati Steam (11-6) with six runs in the second inning.
Anthony Smith boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Stark County Terriers. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.
The Cincinnati Steam had no answer for Casey Wilson, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Cincinnati Steam managed just one hit off of the the Stark County Terriers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Conner Stevens ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked one and struck out one.
