The Stark County Terriers (9-10) and the Cincinnati Steam (11-5) volleyed the lead five times on Sunday, but the Stark County Terriers came out on top for a 6-5 win on Sunday at Walsh University.

The Stark County Terriers were led by Max Murphy's hitting. Murphy went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

John Birkbeck handled the Cincinnati Steam's lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. The Stark County Terriers' pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Justin Glass racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Cincinnati Steam. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and homered in the seventh inning.

Sam Shafer got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Tyler Koors ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked none and struck out nine.
