Derek Sprout hit two home runs to carry the Licking County Settlers (13-7) to a 10-4 win over the Lexington Hustlers (9-9) at Don Edwards Field in seven innings.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Licking County Settlers in the fourth. The Licking County Settlers' bats caught fire leading to seven runs.

Josh Mann improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Licking County Settlers. He allowed two runs over five innings. Mann struck out three, walked six and gave up two hits.

Logan Shaftner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Licking County Settlers' Alex Johnson, Sprout, Nick Schulz and Ryan Cordell combined for eight hits and eight RBIs.
