The Hamilton Joes (6-11) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-2 to the Lexington Hustlers (9-10) on Friday.

The Lexington Hustlers took the lead in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Corey Bays.

Stephen Hoagland did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lexington Hustlers, reaching base three times. He doubled in the first inning.

Austin Clay picked up the win for the Lexington Hustlers. Clay allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

A bright spot for the Hamilton Joes in the defeat was Dylan Toscano, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.
