Chris Piwinski came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Piwinski reached on a error in the nine to lead the So. Ohio Copperheads (7-5) to an 11-8 win over the Hamilton Joes (6-10) on Tuesday at Foundation Field.

Nick Smith was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

Lorenzo Papa, Matt Borgschulte, Mike Fish and Joe Sturino helped lead the So. Ohio Copperheads. They combined for 10 hits and six RBIs.
