Johnson allows no runs to lead the Dayton Docs past the Lima Locos 6-2

Cory Johnson kept the Lima Locos (10-6) off the board during his six innings of work and the Dayton Docs (5-8) beat the Lima Locos, 6-2.

Johnson struck out six and allowed two walks and four hits.

It was a good day at the plate for the Dayton Docs' Chris Manning. Manning went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

A bright spot for the Lima Locos in the defeat was Will Thomas, who allowed only one run while striking out five.

Conner Porter (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
