Tyler Koors improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cincinnati Steam. He allowed four runs over six innings. Koors struck out eight, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Brett Barber ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
