The Cincinnati Steam (9-4) and the Licking County Settlers (9-6) volleyed the lead six times on Saturday, but the Cincinnati Steam came out on top for a 8-4 win on Saturday at Don Edwards Field.

Tim OConner racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Cincinnati Steam. He homered in the eighth inning.

The Licking County Settlers couldn't get anything going so long as Ryan Martin was on the hill. Martin held the Licking County Settlers hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Jonathan Finnegan reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Tyler Koors improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cincinnati Steam. He allowed four runs over six innings. Koors struck out eight, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Brett Barber ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
