Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the So. Ohio Copperheads (5-5) outscored the Lexington Hustlers (7-7) 10-8.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

The So. Ohio Copperheads held off the Lexington Hustlers, as the Lexington Hustlers were unable to overcome a seven-run sixth inning deficit.

The Lexington Hustlers scored on an error and a sacrifice fly by Corey Bays in the seventh inning, a solo home run by Dalton Henzman in the eighth inning, and a groundout by Sam Kidd and an RBI single by Taylor Rozier in the ninth inning. Still, the Lexington Hustlers couldn't draw even.

Matt Glomb racked up four RBIs on two hits for the So. Ohio Copperheads. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Adam Anawalt recorded his second win of the year for the So. Ohio Copperheads. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Logan Shaftner couldn't get it done on the hill for the Lexington Hustlers, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
