Johnny Fasola kept the Dayton Docs (2-4) off the board during his 5 2/3 innings of work and the Stark County Terriers (2-4) beat the Dayton Docs, 2-1.

Fasola struck out five and allowed four walks and three hits.

The Stark County Terriers would not relinquish the lead as the Dayton Docs were unable to weather a two-run eighth inning deficit.

The Dayton Docs scored one run in the ninth on an RBI double by Jesse Rait. Still, the Dayton Docs couldn't draw even.

Garrett Emling had a hot bat for the Stark County Terriers. Emling went 3-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Nick Rodseky was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
