The Licking County Settlers (4-0) and the Dayton Docs (2-3) passed the lead back and forth five times on Tuesday at Don Edwards Field, but in the end the Licking County Settlers pulled out an 8-7 win over the Dayton Docs.

Matt Parisi racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Licking County Settlers. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Joe Ford racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Dayton Docs. He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Even though Jared Hill allowed five runs over two innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. Hill struck out one, walked one and gave up three hits.

Jason Link ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
