The Lexington Hustlers (4-1) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Lima Locos (2-2) captured a blowout 12-2 win at Simmons Field.
The Lima Locos scored six runs in the seventh on a two-run double by Cesar Loiz, an RBI single by Jacob Bruce, a two-run double by Ivan de Jesus, and an RBI single by Greg Brodzinski.
TJ Losby racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lima Locos. He homered in the second inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.
Matt Cook struck out eight hitters en route to the the Lima Locos win. Cook allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over six innings.
Jordan Cooper (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
