The Lima Locos (1-2) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 7-4 to the Lexington Hustlers (4-0) on Sunday.

A three-run single by Duran Elmore gave the Lexington Hustlers the lead in the fourth inning.

Chase Greenwell reached base four times. He singled in the sixth inning.

A bright spot for the Lima Locos in the defeat was Garrick Whittle, who allowed only zero runs while striking out five.

Jackson Deyer improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lexington Hustlers. He allowed four runs over five innings. Deyer struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

Conner Porter (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
