Taylor Rozier went 3-3 at the plate as the Lexington Hustlers (2-0) took home a 6-3 victory over the Dayton Docs (1-1) in seven innings at Wright State University on Saturday.
He singled in the second and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.Austin Clay struck out six hitters en route to the the Lexington Hustlers win. Clay allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over six innings.
Garrett Gray went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Dayton Docs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.
Patrick Dyer (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
