A walk-off single from Devon Reed brought home the winning run for the Hamilton Joes (3-0) in a 6-5 victory over the Stark County Terriers (0-3) in 10 innings at Foundation Field on Saturday.
Reed led the Hamilton Joes' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He also drove in two runners. He singled in the seventh and tenth innings.
Micheal Ricchi recorded his first win of the year for the Hamilton Joes. He allowed one run over two innings. Ricchi struck out one, walked none and gave up four hits.
Zach Edwards was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
