Cody Hall kept the Evansville Otters (36-44) off the board during his 5 2/3 innings of work and the Southern Illinois Miners (48-32) beat the Evansville Otters, 6-0.

Hall struck out five and allowed two walks and eight hits.

Javier Herrera racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He homered in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.
