Tripp Davis held the Danbury Westerners (5-7) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Sanford Mainers (4-7) to a 3-0 victory.

Davis struck out four and allowed no walks and four hits.

Jordan Betts rocked the Danbury Westerners with two home runs. Betts went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Betts homered in the second and fourth innings.

Eric Luksis was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
