The Walla Walla Sweets (1-2) pounded the Corvallis Knights (2-1) on Sunday 9-1 at Borleske Stadium.

A three-run double by Jared Jordan delivered the runs in the second. The Walla Walla Sweets had four hits in the inning.

Spencer ONeil racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Walla Walla Sweets. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and homered in the eighth inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Corvallis Knights' Marc Gallegos. Gallegos went 2-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings.

Kyle Kingsley got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Kyle Hart ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
