The Baltimore Redbirds (2-0) put in a full day's work in a 10-inning, 7-4 win over the Herndon Braves (1-2) Sunday at Oakton High School.

Ryan Sloniger racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Baltimore Redbirds. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the tenth inning.

Joey Sullivan pitched lights out for the Baltimore Redbirds. Sullivan held the Herndon Braves hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Despite the loss, the Herndon Braves' Chase Bailey dominated the Baltimore Redbirds' batters, giving up one run and striking out eight.

Cayden Stover (0-1) took the loss for the Herndon Braves. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
