Marques Inman went 1-3, sparking the D.C. Grays (13-25) to a 7-5 victory in seven innings over the Herndon Braves (17-21) on Thursday at Washington Nationals Academy.

A bright spot for the Herndon Braves in the defeat was Chase Bailey, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.

Matthew Dalke got the win, running his season record to 2-3. He allowed one run over two innings. Dalke struck out none, walked one and gave up three hits.

Conner Hall was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
