The Vienna River Dogs (7-11) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-3 to the Baltimore Redbirds (12-3) on Sunday.

The Baltimore Redbirds took the lead in the sixth inning on a three-run home run by Martin Costes.

Costes racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Tyler Schmitt pitched lights out for the Baltimore Redbirds. The Vienna River Dogs managed just one hit off of the the Baltimore Redbirds' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Max McDougald reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third innings.

Dallas Woolfolk recorded his first win of the year for the Baltimore Redbirds. He allowed three runs over six innings. Woolfolk struck out seven, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Cole Davis (0-3) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
