Chase Reyes went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Pompano Beach Clippers (17-6) to a 3-0 victory over the Palm Beach Xtreme (18-11) on Tuesday at Spanish River High School.
He singled in the third and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.Renny Tolentino pitched lights out for the Pompano Beach Clippers. Tolentino held the Palm Beach Xtreme hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Despite the loss, the Palm Beach Xtreme's Keisy Portorreal dominated the Pompano Beach Clippers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out eight.
