The Trinidad Triggers (21-14) shut the door early on the Great Bend Boom (13-16), capturing a 19-4 victory on Monday at Central Park.

Fifteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Trinidad Triggers to put the game away early.

A two-run home run by Brian Frazier in the first inning and a two-run single by Eric Brothers, an RBI single by Edmund Cheatham, a three-run single by Trevor Sealey, and a single by Eric Williams during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Trinidad Triggers.

Sealey racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Trinidad Triggers.

Brothers improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed four runs over six innings. Brothers struck out one, walked three and gave up five hits.

Mitchell Gonsalves (1-1) took the loss for the Great Bend Boom. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Trinidad Triggers pounded the Great Bend Boom pitching, as eight hitters combined for 17 hits, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
