Johnny Eierman went 1-2 and hit a home run, helping the Windy City ThunderBolts (32-32) to a 2-1 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies (32-34) on Friday at GCS Ballpark.

Clay Chapman picked up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. Chapman allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out four over eight innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Gateway Grizzlies' Will Landsheft dominated the Windy City ThunderBolts' batters, giving up two runs and striking out 10.

Landsheft couldn't get it done on the bump for the Gateway Grizzlies, taking a loss.
