The SS-T T Bolts (20-20) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the Rockville Express (17-23) on Friday.

An error gave the Rockville Express the lead in the eighth inning.

Jason Reyes led the Rockville Express' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the first and eighth innings.

Matt Shaeffer had an impressive outing against the SS-T T Bolts' lineup. Shaeffer held the SS-T T Bolts hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Nick Vogelmeier got on base four times in the game for the SS-T T Bolts. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Corey Howard improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockville Express. Howard struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

Michael Kirschbaum was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
