A five-run seventh inning sealed an 11-5 win for the Alexandria Aces (23-17) over the Vienna River Dogs (17-22) on Friday at Frank Mann Field.

The Alexandria Aces scored in the seventh on , a double by Cody Miller, a two-run single by Zach Cowart, and a solo home run by Chris Balogh.

Cowart racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Alexandria Aces.

Jack Hennessy pitched lights out for the Alexandria Aces. The Vienna River Dogs managed just two hits off of Hennessy, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Patrick Finklestein improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Alexandria Aces. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Thomas Tatham (0-2) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
