The D.C. Grays (13-26) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-1 to the Herndon Braves (18-21) on Thursday.
While the D.C. Grays led until the fourth inning, the Herndon Braves worked their way back and took the lead on a solo home run by Zach Barron.
