Alex Bernauer went 1-3, sparking the Baltimore Dodgers (15-22) to a 4-3 victory over the Alexandria Aces (21-17) on Wednesday at Joe Cannon Stadium.

The Alexandria Aces couldn't get anything going so long as Jordan Menfee was on the hill. The Alexandria Aces managed just three hits off of Menfee, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.

A bright spot for the Alexandria Aces in the defeat was Billy Lescher, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

Cody Miller had a hot bat for the Alexandria Aces. Miller went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Christopher Girken improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Baltimore Dodgers. He allowed one run over two innings. Girken struck out two, walked none and gave up two hits.

Drew Morrison (0-1) took the loss for the Alexandria Aces. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
