The Baltimore Redbirds (27-10) and the D.C. Grays (11-24) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Baltimore Redbirds capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Calvert Hall HS.

Kyle Datres was solid at the plate for the Baltimore Redbirds. Datres went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning.

The D.C. Grays' lineup had no answer for Eli Nabholz. The D.C. Grays managed just two hits off of the the Baltimore Redbirds' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, the D.C. Grays' Simon Rosenblum-Larson dominated the Baltimore Redbirds' batters, giving up two runs and striking out nine.

Kasey Gast (0-1) took the loss for the D.C. Grays. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
