Conrad Kovalcik collected three hits as the Rockville Express (10-19) took home a 2-1 victory over the Vienna River Dogs (12-16) at Montgomery College on Friday.

The Vienna River Dogs' lineup had no answer for Kyle Dominy. The Vienna River Dogs managed just one hit off of the the Rockville Express' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Max McDougald led the Vienna River Dogs' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Sam Deardorff recorded his third win of the year for the Rockville Express. He allowed one run over five innings. Deardorff struck out two, walked five and gave up four hits.

Cole Davis couldn't get it done on the mound for the Vienna River Dogs, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
