The biggest inning for the SS-T T Bolts was the fifth. The Gaithersburg Giants had no answer as the SS-T T Bolts scored eight runs. The SS-T T Bolts scored in the fifth on a hit by pitch, a home run by Ben Kocher, a solo home run by Marlon Mitchell, and a two-run triple by Tom Ruddy.
Kocher racked up five RBIs on three hits for the SS-T T Bolts.
Chih-Yuan Lai's 10 strikeouts helped the SS-T T Bolts to the victory. Lai allowed no earned runs, three hits and no walks over six innings.
Truman Thomas ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out five.
