Zach Barron went 2-3, helping the Herndon Braves (12-13) to a 6-2 victory over the Bethesda Big Train (17-8) on Tuesday at Shirley Povich Field.

Vinny Esposito had a hot bat for the Bethesda Big Train. Esposito went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.
Matthew Herzog (1-1) took the loss for the Bethesda Big Train. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
