The Vienna River Dogs fall to the Gaithersburg Giants 16-3

The Gaithersburg Giants (8-11) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 16-3 win over the Vienna River Dogs (8-13) at Criswell Automotive Field.

Eric Brodkowitz improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Gaithersburg Giants. He allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered four hits.

John Cerretani (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
