Cayden Stover went 1-3 as the Herndon Braves (11-9) took home a 7-4 victory over the Bethesda Big Train (13-7) at Herndon High School on Wednesday.

Steven Schwartz pitched lights out for the Herndon Braves. Schwartz held the Bethesda Big Train hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Dom Morabito improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Herndon Braves. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Matt Matthew couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Bethesda Big Train, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
