A walk-off error from William Redding brought home the winning run for the Herndon Braves (10-8) in a 3-2 victory over the Rockville Express (5-12) at Herndon High School on Sunday.

Zach Barron did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Herndon Braves, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning.

The Rockville Express couldn't get anything going so long as Chase Bailey was on the hill. Bailey gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Rockville Express' Nate Harmon dominated the Herndon Braves' batters, giving up two runs and striking out eight.

Kyle Lefelar (1-1) took the loss for the Rockville Express. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
