Three first-inning runs helped the SS-T T Bolts (9-8) to a 6-4 win over the Vienna River Dogs (7-10) at Blair Stadium on Saturday.

A three-run home run by Matthew Mervis delivered the runs in the first. The SS-T T Bolts had one hit in the inning.

Mervis racked up four RBIs on three hits for the SS-T T Bolts.

The SS-T T Bolts got the win thanks in large part to Corey Fields's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Fields allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over six innings.

Nick Beaulac couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Vienna River Dogs, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
