Brown reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the second and ninth innings.
Gunnar Lambert had two extra-base hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He doubled in the second and eighth innings and singled in the ninth inning.
Johnny York handled the Alexandria Aces (14-10)'s lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. York allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks over seven innings.
Mack Meyer recorded his first win of the year for the Bethesda Big Train. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Christian Leckert (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
